Pranzo has written for twelve law enforcement magazines, authored three published books, including Stress Management for Law Enforcement, which is now in the FBI Library; Behind the Shield: A Journey through the NYPD, which is a story of his police career. His latest book, Harlem Raiders, (Righters Mill Press,) based on his narc unit in 70s and 80s, is a story about a diverse team of NYPD narc crime-fighters who helped restore freedom to a historic, but forgotten, community. He also does police technical consulting and is an advisor for TV and movie productions.
